Camp staff
The BES Camp staff includes many of the most respected coaches and players in the sport. Each of who has a tremendous experience and passion for teaching and an unquestioned pedigree in championship basketball from their years of playing at the highest levels.

The director personally hires and directs the camp staff. They observe and instruct each player every day. Our professionally trained staff are friendly, enthusiastic and committed to the well being of each camper. Camp Counselors are some of the best basketball skills instructors in the country.

SUPERVISION –some staff will live in the Crystal Palace Lodge and provides 24 hour supervision of all campers.

Our main basketball camp staff must pass a rigorous screening and selection process in order to teach basketball skills and run our basketball camps and clinics. All of our top basketball camp staff has passed the BES basketball camp checklists.

•Excellent Communication Skills. Each member of our basketball staff must be able to communicate well with the student campers. Counselors must be able to share their skill and knowledge of basketball in such a way that the young players can easily understand concepts and learn the physical skills.

•Show by Example Each member of our basketball staff must lead by example they must also serve as examples in their lives beyond the basketball court. The campers must be able to view our Counselors as shining examples of what can be achieved if they are willing to work for it. There is a lot more at stake here then just basketball.

•Part of the BES program will also include Guest speakers and clinicians who will be part of every Bucknall Essential Skills programme, so keep an eye out, you never know who might show up to teach at The Carolina Experience.
